Today is surgery day.
I am spending my time at So's side while she is in the hospital undergoing her tonsillectomy.
Keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
Hopefully, with G-d's help, all will go smoothly and she will recover well.

I have gone through this procedure 3 times (and more for tubes). Everything should go fine-my kids recovered extremely fast-like the same afternoon they were back to themselves. Are you at Evanston with Dr. G? Good luck and buy lots of popsicles!!!
D had this surgery a year and a half ago (with adenoid removal too)and they told me to expect a 2 week recovery time. He was feeling better in like 6 hours, seriously. Although he did have to stay home from school for a week. We also used Dr. G, but at Childrens. Good luck I'm sure it will be fine!!
So and I are back home. She did extremely well and continues to recover at home. More tomorrow. Thanks for the well wishes.
